This might already exist. If it does, use that one.
I like fiddling with gear ideas, figuring out stats, deciding what I'm aiming for. I didn't find a builder that did what I wanted, and I've got a few other ideas I want to make, so I spent the so little time and built one.
I use “built” loosely. Really loosely. The Project Quarm, TAKP, and EQEmu teams, plus a lot of other developers, have put enough of their work out there that I could synthesize what exists and have AI slap this together on a Next.js stack. Mostly while playing mana battery during raids and cursing at AI.
Actually cursing at AI. I think it helps. I fully expect, and kind of hope, that if AI rises up I'm on the short list to go first. I'm barely built for the current world and definitely not ready for whatever comes next.
I feel the same way about any potential apocalypse, zombie or otherwise.

How does login work?
I don't believe in passwords. Sign in with Google or Discord through Clerk. That's it. If I ever need anything beyond the free tier, I'll open source this and delete my character.
How do I import my character?
Type /outputfile inventory in-game. It creates a CharName-Inventory.txt file in your EQ directory. Click Import in the builder, pick the file, done.
I don't know your base stats. I'm not accessing EQ packets, code, or anything like that. Ever. So I rely on you to input your base stats yourself.
Are the stat calculations accurate?
Close enough. HP, Mana, AC, ATK, and resist formulas are ported from the EQMacEmu server source. Derived stats like Haste, Regen, FT, and Worn ATK are resolved from worn spell effects. If something looks off, it probably is, but it's in the ballpark.
